The data for this chart is from the REINZ, and shows the proportion of sales within three price bands: - houses that sold under $400,000 - houses that sold between $400,000 and $600,000 - houses that sold over $600,000

Remember that the national median selling price was $542,500 as at March 2017. See the separate chart on median prices.

This series ended in March 2017. It is replaced by REINZ with new price bands but the data available for this new series is insufficient to graph at this time.
