Auckland based mechanic, worked 6 days a week for 40 plus years. Am a saver, very upset the Government via it's agency RBNZ, chooses to erode my savings buying power by regulating interest rates. Cash is a commodity, like land, buildings, petrol, food and so on. Interest rates should be set by the market without interference of the RBNZ / Government.
That will fix the housing issues overnight.
