- Ensure that New Zealand's income tax would move into a two-rates system.
- By 2025/2026, there will be a return of the system of top-rate alignment where the top company, trust, and individuals income tax rates are aligned at 28%.
- The tax rate will be 17.5% for those that have an income between $0 - $70,000 in 2025/2026
- The tax rate will be 28% for those that have an income between $70,000 and above.

- Ensure that tax policy contributes to the overall quality of life of New Zealanders and the sustainable development of Aotearoa New Zealand.
- Ensure that taxes come from a broad base, including personal and business income taxes that reward sustainable human activity and enterprise.
- Ensure that those in society who have the least ability to pay income tax pay the least as a proportion of their income, while those who can pay more do so.
- The tax rate will be 0% for those that have an income between $0 - $10,000.
- The tax rate will increase to 17% for those that have an income between $10,000 - $50,000
- The tax rate will increase to 30% for those that have an income between $50,000 - $75,000.
- The tax rate will be 35% for those who have an income between $75,000 and $120,000 per year.
- The tax rate will be 39% for those that have an income between $120,000 and $180,000 per year.
- The tax rate will be 45% for those that have an income above $180,000 per year.
