The NZDUSD opens at 0.7530 (mid-rate) this morning.
With a lack of data releases at the end of last week the NZDUSD opens this morning slightly lower after failing to push above 0.7600 on Friday.
This week investors will be looking to Tuesday nights U.S. Retail sales, and Wednesday’s China inflation data releases for further direction.
Global equity markets closed out the week broadly higher - Dow +0.55%, Nikkei -0.15%, Shanghai +1.94%, FTSE +1.05% DAX +1.71%, CAC +0.60%.
Gold prices were up 1% on Friday closing out the week at $1206 Oil (WTI) gained 1.7% on Friday closing at $51.64.
