- Replace the Resource Management Act with a law that lets people build without restrictive zoning such as the Metropolitan Urban Limit.
- Let councils issue targeted rates to pay for infrastructure for new housing developments.
- Get councils out of the building consent and inspection business and introduce mandatory private insurance for new housing.

- Significantly improve the R A compliance, monitoring and enforcement regime for resource consents, including ensuring sufficient funding and capacity at all levels.
- Environmental standards that reverse trends in environmental degradation as a matter of urgency.
- Spatial planning that enables the needs of communities and natural ecosystems, including housing, papakainga housing, open space, active and public transport, circular economy infrastructure, indigenous biodiversity, clean water and meets environmental standards.

- Fast-tracking critical job-rich infrastructure projects through changes to the Resource Management Act so projects can get started and stimulate our economy.

- Simplify Anti-Money Laundering legislation by providing guidance to industry, via a National Policy Statement, on how to comply in a less costly manner, while continuing to meet our international obligations.
- Initiate a review of WorkSafe, five years since its inception, to ensure it is focused on delivering a high performance culture, with an emphasis on a collaborative and reasonable approach to health and safety improvement.
- Convene a joint initiative with IRD, ACC, Statistics NZ, MBIE and WorkSafe NZ to specifically identify areas of regulatory duplication for small businesses, specifically in terms of requests for information and unnecessary compliance costs.
- Require Government departments to measure the cost of compliance imposed on small businesses.

- Ensure the Resource Management Act is responsive to the needs of housing initiatives and not restricted by bureaucracy
- The Resource Management Act needs a radical urgent, overhaul to ensure that it’s fit for purpose. The removal of unwarranted costs and delays must be at the forefront of this radical overhaul
- Cut red tape by increasing the fast-track approval process from 2 years to 5 years and review the RMA to increase the number of shovel ready projects
