KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Westpac Banking Corporation has announced that Dr. Nora Scheinkestel and Audette Exel AO will soon retire from the Board. Dr. Scheinkestel, Chair of the Remuneration Committee, will leave on 6 November 2024, while Ms. Exel, Chair of the Risk Committee, will step down on 13 December 2024. New board members will be appointed shortly.

Pacific Edge Limited (NZX, ASX: PEB), a cancer diagnostics company that was included in the NZX50 last year, has announced that it will release its half-year financial results for the six months ending 30 September 2024 on Tuesday, 26 November 2024, before 10 a.m.

Fonterra (FSF, #40) has announced plans to streamline its Fonterra Shareholders Fund (FSF) listing by delisting from the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) and consolidating its listing on the NZX Main Board. Originally dual-listed in 2012 to increase public access to FSF units, Fonterra now aims to reduce costs and operational complexity. The shift, driven by low trading volume on the ASX (around 4% of units), is intended to centralise liquidity on the NZX. ASX-registered unit holders don’t need to take any action, and Fonterra will provide additional updates as discussions with the ASX progress.
