The number of homes sold under the hammer at Barfoot & Thompson's major residential property auctions last week ranged from just over a third for North Shore homes auctioned at the Bruce Mason centre, to 60% of the homes auctioned at Barfoot's head office Shortland Street auction rooms on Friday (see chart below).
Unusually, all but one of the homes sold under the hammer at Barfoot's main North Shore auction last week went for less than $1 million.
Out at the Manukau auction, prices ranged from $545,000 for a three bedroom house with a double garage at Clendon Park to $1.692 million for a house at Maraetai.
In the CBD auction rooms on Shortland St, home units remained popular with a three bedroom brick and tile unit in Mt Eden selling for $874,000 and another two bedroom unit in Sandringham fetching $675,000.

Wow - North Shore auction clearance only 34% Guess those foreign buyers are really starting to come off the boil, well that is until they go looking for loans from the shadow banking world. Last time we saw such poor auction results was due to last years IRD regulations that locked them out for a few months.
Barefoot & Thompson's auction approval rates range from 34% to 60% previous week... homes to auction but sell three quarters of them at previous week's auctions, Kindly Visit http://www.theessayservice.com/pay-less-for-brilliant-homework
