The prices of commercial properties auctioned recently by Colliers International ranged from $1.068 million to $2.86 million, while the net yields ranged from $4.66% to 6.71%.
At Ray White City Apartments' auction last week, six of the four apartments on offer sold under the hammer with four passed in for sale by negotiation. Sales included a 45 square metre unit with three bedrooms wedged into it that went for nearly half a million dollars.
Impression Real Estate has also reported half a dozen apartment sales ranging in price form $245,000 for a unit in the Eclipse building to $439,000 for a vacant unit in the Heritage Hotel building.

- B206/130 Anzac St, Takapuna. A 68 square metre, three bedroom, two bathroom unit with two car parks. Vacant. Sold for $709,000. Rates were $1747 and the body corporate fee $5110. The agent was Donald Gibbs.
- 2C/30 Heather St, Parnell. Carlaw Park Apartments. A 78 square metre, two bedroom unit with a car park. Sold for $660,000. Rates were $2044 and the body corporate levy $3940. The agents were Damian Piggin and Daniel Horrobin.
- 6B/9 Victoria St East. Lister building. A 74 square metre, two bedroom unit in a character building. There were multiple bidders but it was passed in at $750,000. Rates were $1694 and the body corporate levy $6198. The agents were Judi and Michelle Yurak.
- 31D/16 Gore St. Harbour City apartments. A 39 square metre, one bedroom, furnished unit with balcony. Under management contract to Harbour Oaks Hotel Management. The auction documents stated that the building "may not be weathertight or structurally sound." Sold for $375,000. The agents were Damian Piggin and Daniel Horrobin.
- 1804/9-17 Byron Ave, Takapuna. A 49 square metre, one bedroom, furnished unit leased to the hotel. Sold for $479,000. The agents were Gillian Gibson and James Mairs.
- 619/149 Nelson St. Ascent building. A 56 square metre, two bedroom, furnished unit with a car park, in a building that requires remediation work. Rented at $400 a week. Sold for $406,000. The agents were Damian Piggin and Daniel Horrobin.
- 606/421 Queen St. Kiwi on Queen building. A 45 square metre, the bedroom, furnished unit with a car park. Vacant. Sold for $480,000.
- 405/188 Hobson St. Oaks on Hobson building. There were no bids on the property and it was passed in. The agents were Nadine and Norman Markgraaff.
- 2W/15 Nelson St. Columbia on Nelson building. A 52 square metre, one bedroom unit with a car park. Vacant. Passed in at $490,000. The agent was Donald Gibbs.
- 104/15 Rendall Place. Parkview building. A brand new 56 square metre, one bedroom apartment waiting for its title to be issued, in a newly completed complex. There were no bids and it was passed in. The agent was Mohan Ball.
