Harcourts has released the auction results for 137 homes throughout the country that the agency put under the hammer over the last week.
In Auckland the results ranged from $405,000 for a three bedroom duplex unit in Clover Park, Manukau, to $1.94 million for a house in Bayswater on the North Shore.
In Northland selling prices ranged from $260,000 to $1.2 million, with both of those properties in Kerikeri.
In Hamilton $490,000 would have bought you a four bedroom home with two living areas, two bathrooms and a pool in Pukete, and in Mt Maunganui a three bedroom brick and plaster house sold for $432,000.
In the Wellington region the most expensive home sold at auction was a four bedroom house in Karori which went for $555,000 and a fire damaged block of three flats in Newtown went for $580,000.
In Christchurch prices ranged from $186,000 for a house in Opawa to $1.55 million for a four bedroom house in Fendalton.
There were also three homes in Christchurch that were uninsured and sold on an "as is" basis.
One was a derelict two storey house on Ramahana Rd in Huntsbury which was sold "as is" for $116,000, another was a three bedroom house with sunroom and double garage in Avonside which sold for $180,000, and the third was a three bedroom house in Avondale which sold for $216,000.

This three bedroom house (below) in Taupo sold for $380,000.
This three bedroom character home (below) at Beckenham in Christchurch sold for $307,000.
