The new hotels, to be located in Christchurch, Queenstown and Rotorua will be developed by Safari and operated under the Ramada brand.

Construction of this property is due to commence shortly.

The Ramada Lakeside Resort and Spa in Rotorua will be an $18.5 million development with 68 guest units that will be a mix studios and apartments.

It is expected to open at the end of next year.

The Ramada Suites Christchurch City at 264 Tuam St will be a $12.5 million development that will provide a mix of studios and apartments.

It is due to open early next year.

Safari has previously been involved in the development of several Quest hotel properties in this country.
