- A record $850 million for Pharmac in 2016/17, meaning it can fund more lifesaving drugs and treatments for more New Zealanders. Many of these medicines are cutting-edge and extremely expensive, putting them out of reach for many New Zealanders.
- Pharmac is now looking at funding new treatments for advanced melanoma, Hepatitis C, brain tumours and to help women cope with menopause.
