- Introduce Three Strikes for Burglary, meaning someone convicted of a third burglary offence gets three years in prison.
- Reward prisoners who complete literacy programs and driver licensing tests with reduced sentences. Do the same for prisoners who volunteer to teach in these programs.
- Scrap red tape that stops ordinary New Zealanders from volunteering in prison education and rehabilitation programmes.

- Deal with the root causes of crime, providing jobs, education, and hope for young people so that they become productive members of society
- Establish a unit of twelve Victims of Crime Advocates who will be empowered to co-ordinate government agencies to provide swift and co-ordinated support to victims.
- Provide financial support to Community Patrols NZ to deliver twenty new patrol cars each year for three years, and twelve paid volunteer co-ordinators to increase the reach of community patrols on local streets
- Work with police and the Ministry of Justice to provide guidelines to small business owners about their rights when confronted by offenders.
- Collect data about behaviour associated with existing offences, which suggests that the offence may have been based on prejudice or intolerance.

- Establish an Anti-Corruption Commission to absorb the investigative functions of state sector agencies. Disestablish the Independent Police Conduct Authority and transfer its functions to the Anti-Corruption Commission.
- Repeal the Bail Amendment Act 2013 to reduce the level of Māori imprisonment.
- Repeal the Electoral (Disqualification of Sentenced Prisoners) Amendment Act to ensure every person in Aotearoa is able to exercise their democratic right to vote.
- Repeal the Three Strikes Legislation, Sentencing and Parole, and Victims Rights Acts.
- Review sentencing laws to restrict prison to an option of last resort.

- Reintroduce the chargeable offence of drunk and disorderly to include drugs.
- Introduce Australian style legislation to crack down on criminal gangs and organised crime.
- Introduce cumulative sentencing for offenders convicted of more than one crime including white collar crime; and adopt and implement the philosophy that “Life will mean Life” with a mandatory minimum non-parole period of 40-years for premeditated murder.
- Review bail, sentencing and parole laws including recent changes to these laws, in order to address public concerns and expectations.
