ANZ's China CEO says he sees pockets of areas of concern in Chinese banking rather than systemic risk

 ANZ's Shanghai-based China CEO Charles Li sees "pockets of areas" for concern rather than systemic risk in the Chinese banking sector.

Speaking to interest.co.nz during a visit to Auckland last week Li noted frequent reports on the lending exposure of Chinese banks to local government. He said such lending caused concern when projects weren't solely market based because there could be payment risk.
