ANZ New Zealand has appointed Craig Sims as chief operating officer and head of transformation.
The bank said he would take charge of its technology, operations and transformation teams.

ANZ New Zealand today announced the appointment of Craig Sims to the position of Chief Operating Officer & Head of Transformation for ANZ New Zealand, subject to approval by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
Mr Sims will report directly to ANZ New Zealand Chief Executive Officer Jenny Fagg and be a member of the Executive Committee leading the bank in New Zealand. In his new role Mr Sims will be responsible for leading ANZ New Zealand’s Technology, Operations and Transformation teams.
ANZ New Zealand comprises retail brands The National Bank and ANZ, its wholesale business and other branded businesses: UDC, ING NZ, Bonus Bonds, Direct Broking and Eftpos New Zealand Ltd.
