Fonterra say they're not planning another bond issue

Fonterra issued a statement saying they had no plans at this point for a new retail bond issue in New Zealand. The statement followed a media report on the Scoop website quoting Fonterra chief executive Andrew Ferrier as saying they would consider another Kiwi issue.
"We were really encouraged by that," chief executive Andrew Ferrier said in an interview. "We will consider another kiwi issue. We're evaluating it now."Following inquiries, Fonterra released this statement:
Fonterra today said that it had no plans at this point for a new retail bond issue in New Zealand. The company continually evaluates all fund raising options in both New Zealand and overseas. Traditionally the company has not raised funds in the New Zealand retail market, and while the domestic retail bond market is now considered along with other overseas options, Fonterra currently has no plans for a retail issue in New Zealand.Fonterra raised NZ$800 million through a bond issue that closed in early March.
