WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 has fallen -1.4% so far today, extending its five-day decline to -1.7%. The index is down -8% year-to-date but remains up +0.8% compared to this time last year.
THE MAIN GAINERS
Among the 33 gainers, Kiwi Property Group (KPG, #23) and Stride Property Group (SPG, #36) led with +2% gains. KPG is down -13% over six months but up +1% year-on-year, while SPG has fallen -11% year-on-year. Argosy Property (ARG, #33) rose +1%, though it’s down -14% over the year. Investore Property (IPL, #46) also gained +1%, with a six-month decline of -12% and down -9% year-on-year.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
There were 53 decliners, led by EBOS Group (EBO, #6) down -5%, though it’s still up +5% over the past year. Kathmandu Brands (KMD, #50) fell -4%, now down -34% in six months and -43% year-on-year. Fisher & Paykel Healthcare (FPH, #1) dropped -3%, bringing its six-month decline to -11%, though it's still up +26% year-on-year. Mainfreight (MFT, #9) also lost -3%, down -14% from this time last year.

KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS
EBOS Group (EBO, #6) has successfully completed a fully underwritten placement, raising approximately A$200m (NZ$217m) through the issue of 5.9 million new shares. The funds, raised in excess of the amounts used for acquiring SVS Veterinary Supplies and the remaining 10% stake in Transmedic, will enhance balance sheet capacity to support future growth opportunities.
