WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 has fallen -0.3% so far today, extending its decline to -1.7% over the past five days. Compared to this time last year, the index remains up +1.9%.
THE MAIN GAINERS
Among the 38 stocks in the green, Kathmandu Brands (KMD, #50) led with a +3% gain. Despite today's rise, it has dropped -1% over the past five days and is down -27% year-on-year. Sky Network (SKT, #48) gained +2%, though it remains -9% lower for the month and has fallen -11% year-on-year. Stride Property Group (SPG, #36) also climbed +2%, though it is still down -9% for the year. SkyCity Entertainment (SKC, #29) followed with a +1% gain but has fallen -38% year-on-year.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
On the declining side, 45 stocks ended the day lower. Chorus (CNU, #13) dropped -3%, bringing its five-day loss to -6% and its monthly decline to -15%. The NZX (NZX, #41) also fell -3%, though it remains up +47% year-on-year. Ryman Healthcare (RYM, #19) declined -2%, extending its sharp -34% drop over the past month and -36% year-on-year fall. a2 Milk (ATM, #9) also lost -2% today, though it has gained an impressive +42% over the past year.

Kiwi Property Group (KPG, #23) has set the Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP) price at $0.8817 per share for its quarterly dividend, payable on Monday, 24 March 2025. This reflects a 2% discount to the five-day volume-weighted average price (VWAP) following the ex-dividend date. Around 29% of shareholders, representing 42% of issued shares, have opted into the DRP.
