Here are the key changes to know about in the New Zealand equity market today; results for Vector, Vulcan Steel, and Tourism Holdings released

 Here are the key things you need to know about in the NZX markets over the past 24 hours. Changes are as at 3:00 pm and may change when the market closes at 4:45 pm.

WHAT THE NZX50 IS DOING
The NZX50 is down -0.5% from yesterday, putting the index up 1.9% over the past month, up +9.4% from this time last year.

THE MAIN GAINERS
There are a total of 43 gainers today. Vector (VCT, #12) is todays biggest gainer up +3.3%. Vector released their FY24 results today and although they have a +10% increase in adjusted earnings, their NPAT was down to $79.9m from $100m. More information on their results can be found here: (Vector Limited). Skellerup Holdings (SKL, #32) is up +2.3% today followed by Investore Property (IPL, #41) up +2.1%.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
There are 41 decliners today. The biggest from Tourism Holdings (THL, #42) down -4.8%, THL released their FY24 results today. a2 Milk (ATM, #10) continues to decline, down -2.8% from yesterday leaving them down -18.8% for the month. And although Chorus (CNU, #14) released their FY24 results at the top range of their guidance range, they're down -1.2%.

THE KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Ampol (ALD) board of directors announced that ALD will delist from the Mainboard of the NZX today. Given the small number of NZX shareholders and the accessibility of the ASX to NZ based shareholders, the Board considered that this move was in the best interest of their Shareholders, and the company.

Vital Limited (VTL) who Empire is pursuing to takeover released their FY24 results today. The company reported a $27,000 NPAT, which is up from last years $180,000 loss. But the company reports a revenue decline of -4.5% of $26.9 million from $28.1 million.
