- Establish and maintain Tagata Moana cultural hubs and Pasifika festivals across the country.
- Fund programmes that revitalise and maintain indigenous Pasifika languages and dialects.
- Develop equitable and culturally appropriate pathways and programmes for students for tertiary and other education.
- Promote Pasifika led health care models based on Tagata Moana concepts, practices and values.
- Support a culturally appropriate environment so that extended families can be involved in their children's education and ensure that families have access to the resources they need to support their children’s learning.
- Accept Aotearoa New Zealand’s share of people from around the world with special regard to Pacific Island countries.
