- Support ecologically and socially robust decisions on recreational and sporting facilities and activities being made by local communities.
- Increase funding to support the development and maintenance of recreational and sporting facilities and infrastructure.
- Provide sufficient facilities to meet local communities' diverse needs now and into the future.
- Remove all barriers that discourage and prevent Rainbow people, including trans, non-binary and intersex, from participating and competing in sports.
- Amend all gambling legislation to ensure the primary focus is eliminating gambling harm.

- Establish and fund a National Māori Sporting body, targeting Māori sporting codes and sports with high Māori participation.
- Establish a $100M Whānau Pakari fund for 3-years to invest into Māori sporting codes.
- Ensure that funds go directly to the regional Māori sporting codes for Māori, by Māori and not via regional sporting bodies.
- Ensure sporting codes with high Māori participation have Māori governing boards, allowing them to individually compete at world cup events as Aotearoa Māori.
- Provide a Māori Sports mentoring programme; delivering tertiary education opportunities & career pathways for life beyond the sporting field.
