We’re seeking an experienced journalist to work from our Parliamentary Press Gallery office in Wellington.
A successful applicant will ideally have experience in economic and business journalism and be interested in what makes the New Zealand economy tick, and how this intersects with public policy.
Variety is promised. Flexibility and adaptability will be necessary to help us maintain our trusted, independent reputation.
You'll be working online, and will need to be prepared to appear in front of a camera and engage via social media. Your work with us would not be behind any filters or paywalls, nor only appear in email newsletters. You can see our readership levels and demographics here.
Having an opinion and being able to articulate it would also help. You would be working with this experienced team of business journalists.
This is a full-time, salaried role.
