Jon Raby, ASB's long serving Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is leaving the bank next month. Raby will be succeeded by Carl Ferguson, currently ASB's Chief Risk Officer.
Raby has been ASB's CFO for 11 and a half years.
"Jon has been an important part of ASB’s leadership team, and I wish him all the very best for his next chapter," ASB CEO Vittoria Shortt said in a statement.
In a LinkedIn post Raby says he will initially be taking some time out to assess various options.
Amie Nilsson, currently ASB’s General Manager of Customer Assistance and Credit Solutions, has been appointed Chief Risk Officer. Both the new appointments are effective from August 11, subject to Reserve Bank non-objection.
Meanwhile, Kiwibank has appointed former ASB executive Anna Curzon as an independent director to its board from September 1. Curzon's currently a global executive at Xero.
