WHAT THE NZX50 IS DOING
The NZX50 gained +0.5% for the day. Over the last month it has barely changed up +0.2% which puts the indexes year-on-year change to a gain of +13.3%.
THE MAIN GAINERS
The equity market has 52 gainers, the front runner being Tourism Holdings (THL, #45) in this position for a second day in a row. THL gained a further +2.9% since yesterday. THL declines -2.2% over the past five days, down -52.6% for the year-to-date. Turners Automotive (TRA, #44) has the next biggest gain up +2.2%, up +8.2% for the year. Kathmandu Brands (KMD, #50) also grew +2.2% but declined across the board down -8.7% for the month alone, -42.8% for the year. Chorus (CNU, #13) followed closely up +2.1%.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
There are 41 decliners on the board today. SkyCity (SKC, #28) has the biggest decline falling -2.8%, which is its same figure over the last five-days. For the full year SKC's share price has slumped down to $1.42, a -26.2% difference. Oceania Healthcare (OCA, #38) declined -2.5%, but is staying relatively level for the year-to-date holding on to a +1.3% gain. Scales Corp (SCL, #40) is next on the decliners list down -1.6% followed by Serko (SKO, #49) down -1.4%.

KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Tower (TWR) who yesterday announced its appointment into the NZX50 advises that its results for the full year ending on the 30th of September will be released on Thursday, the 28th of November. Investors and Analysts are invited to a briefing by Tower's Chair,Michael Stiassny, TWR Chief executive officer Blair Turnbull, and CFO Paul Johnston to discuss results and answer questions at 10:00am on the release day.
Air New Zealand (AIR, #20) announced to the NZX that its Chief Customer and Sales officer, Leanne Geraghty, is stepping down from her role, effective in January next year. Geraghty is set to return to Australia to spend time with her family. AIR CEO Greg Foran commented: "Leanne has been an invaluable part of our team, and her contributions have been pivotal in shaping the airline's success over the past 20 years. She has been an exceptional leader and team member at Air New Zealand. Leanne puts our customers, people and partners at the heart of every decision, and we have been incredibly lucky to have her as an ambassador for the airline for such a long time.”
