Big banks make good use of favourable wholesale funding conditions

Australasia's big four banks raised A$23 billion (about NZ$25.3 billion) of term wholesale debt funding during the third quarter, taking their combined total term debt funding for the first nine months of 2014 to A$117.4 billion, analysis from JP Morgan shows.
